Bloxham, Cottage Garden
A plain patch of lawn was transformed by infusing it with natural texture, colour, and life while enhancing its functionality, elegance and appeal to wildlife. Sweeping curved flower beds carve into the lawn with a mix of wildflowers and ornamental naturalistic planting for structure and interest 365 days of the year while a new informal winding stepping-stone garden path creates a new journey through the garden. At the far end of the garden, there’s a naturally boggy area with a small babbling natural spring and stream which was the perfect opportunity to create a large bog garden feature with giant Gunnera.
