The design process

Creating a new garden can be as daunting as it is exciting. Our unique, personal approach means you will be guided and supported throughout the process, from start to finish so you can sit back and enjoy the transformation.

Consultation

Gardens play a unique role in each of our lives. So, whether you are looking for a space to entertain, relax, or play, this is when we will uncover exactly what you want from your space. We will explore your ideas, requirements, aesthetic, and budget.

Concept design

We will visit your garden to get a better idea of your space and take measurements. We will present you with A3/A2/A1 approximate plans of your garden and the proposed design. This is when we start to bring your ideas to life, so we will ‘zoom in’ to various features and viewpoints and create a mood board of material and style options.

Approximately £200-£800

Design masterplan

Once your happy with the design, it’s time to get technical. We will create all the technical drawings needed to create your garden. This will include accurate specifications and electrical plans for example, so landscapers and electricians can turn the plans into reality safely and efficiently. We will also create detailed planting plans at this stage, carefully selecting and positioning your plants so they have the best chance to thrive.

Tendering process

We will source the right contractors to fit your project and work with them to create quotes, plan timelines, and ensure all the paperwork is in place before the project starts.

We have a close working relationship with a trusted high-quality landscaping company that we recommend to our clients in the Oxfordshire area. If you are outside this area, or would like to look for other options, then we would be more than happy to find the right team for you.

Project management

This is when the transformation can begin. We offer a range of project management options to suit your needs. We can simply visit at the start, middle and end of your project to make sure you start and finish on track, or we can be there on site every day until the job is done, being the point of contact for the contractors, resolving any issues, and making sure the project timeline and budget stays on track.

Maintenance plan

Once a garden has been created (no matter how low maintenance the garden may be), a new garden may seem quite daunting. But don’t worry! To enable you to simply enjoy your new outside space without concern, a complimentary maintenance plan is offered to every client no matter how big or small the project. Further to this, every client is welcome to message or email planting questions, problems or for advice for a lifetime after the project finishes.
